Yes, they do, and the main reason it's because most the symbolism they have is catholic based, I have nothing agaisnt it, but considering I have to do a character per card, using just catholic references would leave me with little to choose and create, what I left to them is mostly the interpretation they have in readings, but that cannot be appreciated in a single picture, sadly.

You're obviously a bit uneducated. Many many modern decks have pictures that have elements to represent certain traits of the cards. I used the 'Deviant Moon' deck- and its unlike any I've seen.

You should take a bit more artistic license with your cards- add small elements to mean things.

What you said it's true, but those modern versions are also interpretations they did, I have a deck I bought that is amazingly good, but that was the interpretation the artist gave to his deck, and what you see in my gallery, is my interpretation of them, adapted to the story I'm making; I don't want to condition my characters to the interpretation of the Major Arcana someone else did, not in their design at least, since I'm the one making them, I don't feel like ripping off someone else work.

Like I told you before, the meaning I plan to use is the one applied to their reading, not the aesthetics or symbolism made by someone else. And even their reading is subject to interpretation, I can't help you if you don't like the interpretation I did, we could spend a hundred years discussing who sees the color Blue more blueish than the other, and we would never come to an agreement, because it depends on interpretation.

We both know what a car is, right? Well, if someone draws a car with three tires, or five, or none, and it hovers in the air, you will say he's uneducated just because it wasn't done the way you know it is? That I can't agree.
